Signing of MoU and Data Sharing Agreement
In a recent development, the IBCC and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Peshawar signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU to facilitate data sharing. This agreement enables the IBCC to access BISE Peshawar’s data in a read-only format through APIs, which will significantly streamline the attestation verification process. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director of IBCC, and Prof. Nasrullah Khan Yousufzai, Chairman of BISE Peshawar, with the Controller of BISE Peshawar, IBCC directors, and IT teams from both organizations present.
Advantages for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Students
This collaboration will eliminate the requirement for students to physically visit BISE Peshawar to obtain document verification, which previously necessitated a sealed envelope for IBCC attestation. The new system will provide online verification, allowing students to save time and reduce costs. Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah emphasized that the online service will greatly diminish travel expenses, making the process more user-friendly. Prof. Nasrullah Khan noted that BISE Peshawar will serve as a central hub for guiding other BISEs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to connect with the IBCC attestation portal.
Introduction of a Feedback Mechanism
Additionally, Prof. Nasrullah Khan and his team provided a comprehensive overview of a newly developed Feedback Mechanism by BISE Peshawar’s IT team. This tool aims to help authorities make data-driven decisions and identify areas for improvement. Dr. Mallah expressed his commitment to sharing the progress achieved by BISE Peshawar with other IBCC members, encouraging them to implement similar advancements in their respective boards. This initiative marks a significant advancement in modernizing educational services, enabling students to focus more effectively on their academic and career goals.
