HEC USAT Admission Open 2024

The Higher Education Commission HEC, through the Education Testing Council ETC, announces the Higher Education Undergraduate Studies Admission Test USAT for undergraduate admissions in universities across Pakistan. This test is crucial for aspiring students aiming to secure a place in various universities, including the National University of Modern Languages NUML.

The USAT is patterned after the Scholastic Aptitude Test SAT and is conducted quarterly. It covers all major disciplines such as Engineering, Medicine Allied Health, IT, Management, and Social Sciences. Qualifying the respective USAT makes students eligible for admission to relevant universities and for the HEC Undergraduate Scholarships.

Who can apply for USAT? Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent/Grade 12 education, as well as those awaiting their final exam results, are eligible to apply. The test is divided into six categories based on academic streams:

USAT-E = Pre Engineering

USAT-M = Pre Medical

USAT-A = Art & Humanities

USAT-CS = Computer Science

USAT-GS = General Science

USAT-COM = Commerce

A score of 50 or above qualifies as a passing score, with a maximum possible score of 100.

The HEC USAT Admission Open 2024 and the HEC Admission Fall 2024 programs are designed to streamline the university application process. The last date for online registration is June 30, 2024, and the test will be held on July 14, 2024.

Candidates must ensure their applications are complete and submitted, as incomplete or saved applications will not be entertained. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Valid email and mobile numbers are required for communication about exam dates, times, and venues.
