HEC Scholarship Opportunity for Gwadar Students

Higher Education Commission Islamabad is pleased to announce an undergraduate scholarship program specifically designed for students from Gwadar. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the HEC Undergraduate Gwadar Scholarship:

Applicants must possess a domicile or local certificate of residence from District Gwadar.
They must have completed 12 years of formal education FA/FSc/ICS/I.COM/DAE or its equivalent.
The prerequisite qualifications must be acquired before the closing date. Students already enrolled in any BS program prior to the scholarship advertisement maximum one academic year/session may also apply.
Applicants must be enrolled in a Public Sector University in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or Sindh.
Candidates who are already benefiting from other scholarships are not eligible to apply.
The maximum age for applicants is 22 years as of the closing date.

Scholarship Coverage

The HEC Gwadar Scholarship will cover the following expenses:

Tuition fees, hostel fees, and other charges, up to a maximum of Rs: 120,000 per year.
A monthly stipend of Rs: 6,000.
Book allowance and traveling allowance of Rs 10,000 per annum.
Initial settlement allowance of Rs: 10,000 one-time payment.

Important Information

Candidates will be shortlisted based on an Aptitude Test conducted by the ETC-HEC, along with their academic credentials SSC/HSSC.
Minimum passing marks in the aptitude test are mandatory.
Any expenses beyond those specified in PC-1 will be the responsibility of the student.
HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without providing a reason.
Only applications submitted online will be accepted; hard copies will not be considered.

Application Process

To apply for the HEC Undergraduate Scholarships for Gwadar students:

Submit your online application through the HEC website htt://eportal.hec.gov.pk.
Pay a non-refundable aptitude test fee of Rs 500 by depositing it in HBL Account Number 17427900133401 Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742 in any HBL branch.
Upload the original bank payment record/slip with your online application and keep it for presentation at the test center you must produce the original bank deposit slip to sit for the test.
Ensure that you submit the online application within the specified deadline; saved or incomplete applications will not be considered.
