Eligibility Criteria for HEC Undergraduate Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Hold a domicile or local certificate from Gilgit-Baltistan
Have completed their Secondary School Certificate SSC and/or Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC, with preference given to those who completed these from Gilgit-Baltistan
Not be availing any other scholarship simultaneously
Be open to applying to any public sector university/institution across Pakistan. However, any costs exceeding those specified in PC-1 will be the students responsibility
Be under 22 years of age as of the application deadline
Fulfill HEC and university admission criteria for BS programs

Key Points to Note

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic credentials and performance in an Aptitude Test, to be conducted by the Education Testing Council, HEC. A minimum score of 50% on the test is required.
Students already enrolled in a BS program at a public sector university/institution, within one academic year/session before the advertisement, are eligible to apply.
Scholarships are awarded without bias toward gender, caste, race, or religion.
