HEC Offers IRSIP P.HD Scholarships

The Higher Education Commission HEC, Islamabad is going to provide an international research program offer to the P.HD Scholars for their advanced research work according to international standard and to make them more competent and professionally skilled to cope with the global demands. The HEC in this regard has announced the International Research Support Initiative Program IRSIP for P.HD Scholars.

All Pakistan and AJK nationals who have completed their 2 or 3.5 years degree and passed P.HD as per rules of the HEC can apply for HEC PHD International Research Support Initiative Program IRSIP. The applicants should have approved Ph.D research topic by the Board of Advanced Studies and Research of the Directorate of Advanced Studies or equivalent body of the university.

Eligibility

An official acceptance letter for research from a foreign institute should be submitted by the candidates. The institution must be ranked in the top 200 universities According to the Times ranking of world universities. The ex supervisor of the university should not be the international supervisor. The Ph.D. Scholars availing of any other HEC Scholarship can also apply in IRSIP and should submit NOC from concerned authorities.

Procedure

All Ph.D Scholars are advised to follow the following procedure to apply for HEC P.HD IRSIP 2020.
Applications for the HEC IRSIP can be submitted during the year.

Applicants can apply after meeting the basic eligibility criteria announced by HEC.

Incomplete applications for this program are not entertained in any case.

Candidates have submit the required documents such as CV, copy of passport, copies of academic documents including Ph.D. coursework transcript that shows credit hours and grades attained in each course, and a copy of GRE result certificate along with their applications.
