HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test Announcement Session 2025
The Higher Education Commission HEC has announced the Law Graduate Assessment Test Law-GAT for the Session 2025, which is mandatory for law graduates seeking admission to practice law in Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria for the Law-GAT requires candidates to hold a Bachelors degree in law or its equivalent from a university recognized by HEC/PBC. The test will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions MCQs, covering various aspects of law.
The test date is tentatively set for February 23, 2025. However, any changes due to unavoidable circumstances will be communicated to applicants through the official HEC website and SMS/email alerts. Candidates are advised to ensure their valid email/mobile numbers are provided during registration.
The curriculum for the test can be downloaded from the official Higher Education Commission website. Test centres are available across various locations, and candidates can select their preferred centre during online registration. Note that once selected, the test centre cannot be changed.
To register, applicants must visit http://etc.hec.gov.pk. Complete the online registration process and submit the application, along with the non-refundable fee via 1Link/1Bill Invoice.
