HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2024 Registration

The Higher Education Commission HEC is set to conduct the Law Graduate Assessment Test for individuals who have completed their law education and aspire to kickstart their careers as advocates. Enrolling with the Bar Council is a mandatory step for fresh LLB graduates to embark on their legal journey. HEC has announced the HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2024 Registration of Fresh Law Graduates as an Advocate, providing candidates with a pathway to begin their advocacy careers.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a bachelors degree in law or an equivalent degree from a university or college recognized by HSC and PBC.
Test Type
The test will comprise multiple-choice questions, and candidates must qualify to proceed.
Curriculum
Candidates can download the revised Law-GAT curriculum test from the official HEC website.
Schedule
The Law-GAT test is scheduled for 31st March 2024. Any changes in the test date or time will be communicated through the official website.
Application forms can be downloaded online, and registration can be completed through the HEC online portal. Roll number slips will be uploaded online one week before the test.
Registered applicants will receive notifications regarding the test date, time, and venue via email or SMS. Applicants must provide valid email addresses or mobile phone numbers in their online application forms.
Detail of Test Centers
Test centers are established across the country, located in major cities near applicants residences. Applicants can select their preferred test centers from the provided list.
The test will be conducted in selected centers where at least 250 applicants choose to participate.
Once selected, test centers cannot be changed.
Registration Process
Candidates can visit the official HEC website for online registration.
Completing the profile using the My profile section and submitting the application through the Law Graduate Assessment Test link on the menu panel is required.
Submitted application forms will be considered for the Law-GAT Test, while forms in save or incomplete modes will not be accepted.
Candidates must deposit a test fee of Rs.3000/- through 1Link 1Bill invoice to participate via Banks/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Jazz Cash/UPaisa.
The deadline for submission of application forms is 12 March 2024. Candidates must attend the test on the scheduled date and present their roll number slips for verification during the test. Roll number slips can be downloaded online, and candidates should verify their particulars along with the names of the test centers.
