HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2023 Schedule
Higher Education Commission HEC has announced the schedule for the Law Graduate Assessment Test Law-GAT 2023. This test is mandatory for LLB graduates who wish to pursue Bar Council Registration. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the HEC portal by June 12, 2023. Law-GAT 2023 will be conducted on June 25, 2023. Registration and Application Process:
Candidates who have completed a Bachelors degree in Law or its equivalent from a university recognized by HEC/PBC can register online. It is crucial to provide a valid email address and mobile number during the application process. Once registered, applicants can download their Roll Number Slips from the same portal one week before the test date. Email and SMS notifications regarding the test date, time, and venue will be sent to registered candidates.
To be eligible for Law-GAT 2023, applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelors degree in Law from a university recognized by HEC and PBC.
Law-GAT 2023 will be conducted at various test centers. Applicants can select their preferred test center from the available options in the application form. The test will be held at a specific center only if a minimum of 100 applicants choose that center. Once selected, the test center cannot be changed after registration. Registration and Test Fee:
The registration fee for Law-GAT 2023 is Rs. 3000/-. Applicants are required to deposit the fee online or via ATM in Account No. O 1127900567403. The account title is "Higher Education Commission," and the bank is Habib Bank Limited Branch Code: 0112. Bank drafts or pay orders will not be accepted. Scanned and stamped challan forms from any HBL branch must be uploaded while completing the application form on the ETC online registration portal.
Only submitted applications will be considered for Law-GAT 2023. Applications saved or left incomplete will not be entertained.
A minimum score of 50% is required to pass the Law-GAT.
Applicants must meet any additional criteria as per the Rules and Regulations of the Pakistan Bar Council PBC.
Candidates have a maximum of three attempts to clear the Law-GAT, which is conducted three times a year by HEC.
