HEC Law GAT 2024 Registration Details & Test Information

Registration Process for LAW-GAT 2024
Candidates must apply online via the HEC portal by June 04, 2024. Eligible applicants, having completed a Bachelors degree in Law from a recognized university approved by HEC/PBC, can register online. A week before the test date, applicants will download their Roll Number Slip from the same portal. Notifications concerning test details will be communicated via email and SMS to registered candidates. Applicants must provide a valid email and mobile number during registration. On test day, candidates need to present their printed Roll Number Slip and original CNIC at the designated test center.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for LAW GAT 2024, candidates must hold a Bachelors degree in Law from a university recognized by HEC and PBC.
Test Centers
The test will be administered across multiple cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Sukkur, Abbottabad, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad, Turbat, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, and Gilgit. Applicants can select their preferred test center during registration, provided at least 250 candidates choose that center. Once selected, the test center cannot be changed.
How to Register
Visit the official website to carry out the online registration. For assistance, visit onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk or HEC Secretariat/Regional Centers. Registration involves completing your profile under "My Profile" and submitting your application via the "Law Graduate Assessment Test" link on the portals menu. Only submitted applications will be considered. The test fee must be paid through 1Link 1Bill invoice, with verification required on the ETC dashboard post-payment.
Important Dates and Conditions
The deadline for online registration is June 04, 2024, by 4 pm. A minimum score of 50% is necessary to pass LAW GAT. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts annually as per PBC regulations.
