District Education Officer DEO of Mardan has released essential guidelines for all government schools within the district to conduct annual exams for classes 1 to 8 at the culmination of the academic year. As per the instructions provided by the DEO Mardan, public sector schools will commence their students annual exams from 04 March 2024 to 25 March 2024, following the date sheet issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education D of ESE. Dates and Timing of Papers

Students attending government schools should take note of the exams dates, with papers scheduled during the morning session within school hours for easy access to exam centers. Papers for classes 1 to 4 will be written on either black or whiteboards, although schools have the option to print the papers at their expense. No examination fees or school funds will be collected from the students. Primary class students will incur an examination fee of Rs.150/- per student, while middle-class students will be charged Rs.200/- per student. Schools are responsible for preparing their students results, which will be announced on 30 March 2024.
