Guidance for HEIs for Closing Academic Institutes COVID-19

After arising the second wave of coronavirus pandemic across the country, the government has issued necessary directives and all educational institutes will be closed from 26 November 2020 to 24 December 2020. During this closing period, the educational institutes are advised to carry on delivery of education to the students through online or hybrid or by assigning home work to the students in case of experiencing problems of connectivity. The winter holidays will be scheduled from 25 December 2020 to 10 January 2021 and all educational institutes will remain closed during this period. The candidates will follow Guidance for HEIs for Closing Academic Institutes COVID-19.

The government will manage the review meeting during the first week of January in order to assess the situation and decision of the reopening of the academic institutes will be made. The annual or supply exams of all universities and educational boards, which are planned in December 2020 have been postponed. The exception is provided for the assessment exams including entrance exams, MDCAT or recruitment exams and all small exams with minimum 30 students can be managed observing the COVID-19 SOPs in the country. The candidates will read all necessary instructions and they will follow them at the time of closing of educational institutes.
