Govt Thinking over Opening Schools under SOPs

Islamabad, Federal Minister for Education said that the government is adopting the SOPs to protect against the Coronavirus pandemic and the federal government is considering on the matter to open the schools under the SOPs. Govt Thinking over Opening Schools under SOPs.

Due to spreading of the COVID-19 all over the country, the educational institutes including schools, colleges and universities were closed and the academic activities were stopped. Now the government is thinking over this issue seriously. Federal government, Ministry of Education demanded the suggestions from all provinces including Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir religious schools, madrassahs and private educational institutes on opening of schools and they also managed the meetings with the Health department. The federal ministry of education is also considering the data of the National Command and Operation Center. The government is trying to stop the atmosphere of the uncertainty on this issue. A survey was conducted, in which about 70% of the parents showed their consent that the schools should be opened under particular SOPs. Now the government is preparing the roadmap and it will be shared with the parents.
