In a proactive measure aimed at safeguarding public health from the detrimental effects of smog, the Punjab government has issued a directive making the wearing of face masks mandatory for a specified duration. This directive is applicable to districts heavily impacted by smog, including Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad, Sialkot, and Mandi Bahauddin.
