Govt Considers Extension in Schools Colleges Holidays

The government has announced to extend the closure of the schools and colleges till August. As the situation of Coronavirus pandemic is becoming worse across the country and the government has decided to close the educational institutes in order to protect the lives of millions of students all over the country and the closing days have been extended in the schools, colleges and universities. Now the students are getting education online and they have to stay at home to prevent the COVID-19 disease. Govt Considers Extension in Schools Colleges Closing till August.
National Command and Operation Center recommended closing the schools and colleges till August because of the prevailing situation of the coronavirus pandemic in the country. It is expected that the coronavirus pandemic will be on peak on 15 July and the government previously announced to open the educational institutes from this date of July 15 but keeping in view this situation, it will not be possible for the government to allow the schools and colleges to open their educational institutes and retain their academic activities.
The Federal Minister for Planning said during NCOC meeting that the long term and short term policies regarding the COVID-19 will be made and it is need of the hour to review the communication strategy for provision of better communication and public outreach on this particular issue. The government has taken this suggestion seriously and it is expected that the notification will be issued to the schools and colleges and it is expected that the educational institutes may not open on 15 July.
