Govt Announces Matric / Inter Final Marking System

Federal Education Minister conducted the meeting with provincial educational ministers and chairmen of all educational boards of Pakistan and during this meeting, this decision was made unanimously that the students will be awarded the marks according to the final marking system being decided here on today. The government has already announced not to take the exams of the matric and intermediate classes both parts all over the country and the students will be promoted to the next higher classes. 9th & 11th Classes
There were many educational boards, which started the process of conducting the exams and some of the boards were going to start the process of the exams for the regular and private students. Now according to the decision of the federal government, no educational board in Pakistan will conduct the 9th and 11th class annual exams of the regular and private students and the students will be promoted to the next higher class.
It is also decided that the 9th and 11th class students will not appear in the composite exams next year in 2021 but the students will appear only in the 10th and 12th classes board exams. The students will have to perform well and they will get good marks as their marks of the SSC part 2 and HSSC part 2 will be calculated to grant the marks to the students in their previous classes, in which they are going to promote now.
10th & 12th Classes
The students of the 10th and 12th classes will be promoted to the next higher classes and their promotion will be based on performance of past year. The students, who have shown satisfactory performance in previous year, they will be promoted. The government also decided to award 3% extra marks to the students besides their average marks in the result for this year as the students show good performance in the final year exams as compared to their previous year exams.
Failing and Improving Students
The students, who failed 40% of the subjects or less, in the 9th and 11th grades, they will get the passing marks but the students failed with over 40% of the subjects, they will not be promoted but instead they will appear in the special exams being conducted from September to November so that they can improve their results. The students, who passed their exams but their obtained less marks and they want to improve their result, they are also allowed to appear in these special exams.
Special Exams Dates
The students, who are willing to appear in the special exams, they need to contact with their educational board by 01 July and their exams will be managed at any time from September to November.
