The Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Joint Admission Committee is extending an exciting opportunity for aspiring medical and dental students in the region. The admission process for the First Year MBBS and BDS programs is now open for the session 2023-2024. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have passed the HSSC/ F.Sc. Pre-Medical or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60 percent marks.

National MDCAT: Candidates must have successfully passed the National MDCAT-2023 with a minimum of 55 percent for MBBS and 50 percent for BDS. The result of MDCAT-2022 is no longer valid for admission in the session 2023.

Reserved Seats: Special program seats predefined exclusively for foreign students and seats reserved for overseas Pakistanis have different requirements. Such candidates must qualify SAT-II with a minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MCAT examination or UCAT examination with 50 percent marks in the subjects as prescribed in PM&DC Regulation.

The admission process is entirely online, and no manual or paper-based applications will be accepted. Here are the key steps:

Upload scanned mandatory original documents.
Specify your preferences for colleges, starting with your first choice.
Pay the admission processing fee of Rs. 3000/- and I.T charges of Rs. 400/- through Easy Paisa Shop, Debit Card, or online banking to complete the application process.
Admission Schedule

Closing of Online Application: October 31, 2023
Provisional Merit List of all applicants: November 10, 2023
First College-wise Selection List MBBS and BDS of all Categories: November 20, 2023
Last Date for Submission of Fee in Colleges: November 24, 2023
Second and Third Selection Lists: November 29, 2023, and December 8, 2023, respectively
Commencement of Classes: February 1, 2024
Candidates with disabilities are required to appear before a specialist of their differently-abled medical board.

Incomplete applications or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure will be rejected.
Candidates with foreign qualifications should upload the Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC.
Ensure that your contact information is correct and active.
Selected candidates must deposit their original SSC & FSC Certificate/Result Card, duly attested by IBCC, to the concerned college.
Any candidate found to have submitted forged/fake/fabricated documents or incorrect/false information will be debarred from admission for a period of 7 years.
Candidates eligible for seats on Open Merit in public sector medical colleges of Pakistan should avail those seats and will not be eligible for AJ&K seats.
