Academic Qualifications:

For candidates in the pre-engineering stream, a combination of Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Studies or Computer Science ICS is acceptable. Chemistry should be taken as a remedial subject, preferably in the 1st semester.
GCSE A-Levels or any foreign qualification equivalent to Intermediate Pre-Engineering is also considered.
B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics is acceptable for certain programs.
DAE Diploma of Associate Engineer or B.Tech in various engineering and technology disciplines is recognized. Equivalence certificates from IBCC are mandatory for equivalent foreign qualifications.
Academic Performance: Candidates should have at least 60% marks in Intermediate Pre-Engineering, Computer Science ICS, or equivalent. Additionally, no third division should be recorded throughout your academic career.

Entry test conducted by NED-UET, Karachi, and MUET Jamshoro.
Entry test conducted by NUST Islamabad.

Merit Calculation: The weight age for admission is calculated as follows:

Entry Test: 30%
FSC/A-Level/Relevant DAE: 40%
Matric/O-Level: 10%
Interview: 20%
