Admission Notice for DAE Courses 2024-2025 at Government College of Technology, Abbottabad

The Government College of Technology, Abbottabad, has officially opened admissions for the academic session 2024-2025. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for enrollment in the First Year of the
Three-Year Diploma of Associate Engineer DAE programs.


Available Technologies and Eligibility Criteria
The college offers DAE courses in various engineering disciplines, including Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical technologies. Admission is open to candidates holding domicile certificates from specific districts, with details as follows:


Morning Shift Regular


Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Technologies: Open to candidates from District Abbottabad.
Mechanical Technology: Open to candidates from District Mansehra.

Evening/Second Shift Self Finance


All Technologies: Open to candidates from all over Pakistan.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their SSC Secondary School Certificate in science subjects or hold a TSC Technical School Certificate, G-II, or G-III Vocational Course along with an SSC in science subjects. A minimum of 40% marks is required to apply.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates applying for either the regular or second shift is 25 years as of the last date of application submission. However, candidates over the age limit may be granted a 2-year relaxation upon payment of an overage fee.
Important Dates and Admission Process
Availability of Admission Forms: Admission forms can be obtained from Allied Bank Limited, College Road Mandian Branch, Abbottabad, for a cash payment of Rs. 100/- between 09/08/2024 and 24/08/2024.
Submission of Forms: Completed application forms must be submitted to the college during working hours from 09/08/2024 to 24/08/2024.
Merit List and Interview Dates: The merit list for the Morning Shift will be displayed on the college notice board on 28/08/2024. Candidates are required to appear for an interview with the admission committee on the specified dates and times. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their admission, and the seat will be allocated to the next candidate on the merit list.
Admission Fee: The full admission fee must be paid at the time of the interview. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the candidates admission, and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.
Additional Notes
Evening/Second Shift Admissions: Candidates interested in the DAE Evening/Second Shift must apply separately. There is no domicile restriction for Evening/Second Shift admissions.
Diploma in Information Technology D.I.T.: Admissions are also open for the one-year Diploma in Information Technology D.I.T., supervised by highly qualified staff and equipped with well-established labs.
