Global Mental Health Fully Funded HRPM Course 2024
The Global Mental Health and Cultural Psychiatry Group, in partnership with the Husain Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning PILL and the Noor Education & Healthcare Foundation, is offering an exceptional opportunity for individuals interested in Health Research Project Management HRPM. This fully funded course for the 2024-25 session aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to manage and execute impactful health research projects.
Course Details:
Eligibility:
The course is open to individuals with a minimum of a graduate degree. Selection will be based on an interview process conducted by a dedicated committee.
General Guidelines:
PILL and GMHCP offer this paid HRPM course twice a year, in September and March. For the upcoming session, admissions are open until September 2, 2024. After an initial screening of the applications, interviews will be held on September 9, 2024, and the final merit list will be published on September 13, 2024. Classes are set to commence on September 19, 2024.
Preference:
Candidates with prior experience or qualifications in the management sector will be given preference.

About the Program:
The HRPM course is designed to develop competencies in managing health research projects effectively. The GMHCP Research Group is actively involved in the NIHR-Funded Moving on ABC+ After Breast Cancer grant project. This innovative project combines cognitive behavioral therapy CBT with educational strategies to address global challenges related to breast cancer. With breast cancer affecting approximately 11 million people annually and resulting in 670,000 deaths, the project aims to make a significant impact on improving outcomes and support for those affected by this disease.
