GIK Bachelors Scholarships & Assistantship Scheme 2023

Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology is going to award multiple scholarships for master degree studies and the institute has announced the MS & PhD scholarships and bachelor degree assistantships. These scholarships are fully funded scholarships and the monthly stipend of PKR 75,000/- per month will be awarded to the students along with free hostel accommodation under this program. The students can avail their GIK Bachelors Scholarships & Assistantship Scheme 2023 in all disciplines on the merit and the merit list will be prepared according to the performance of the students in the entry test and interview. The scholarships / assistantships will be added with full tuition fee waiver, free hostel accommodation and monthly stipend. The students will have to pay only admission fee, which is non-refundable and the security deposit, which will be refundable.

The candidates can submit their application forms for GIK Graduate Assistantship and scholarships and admission by the final date of 12 December 2022 and the admission test of the candidates will be managed on 20 December 2022. The candidates will view the eligibility criteria for admission under various schemes, which are defined as under:

i.          Graduate Assistantship Scheme GA-1

• Full Tuition Fee waiver


• PKR: 20,000/- monthly stipend

• SSC & HSSC or Equivalent: Minimum 60% marks


• BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks

• BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks


• 2-year service as Lab Engineer/TA at GIK Institute with annual performance as very good or better.

• Partial Tuition Fee waiver Annual Tuition Fee under PSS is Rs. 150,000/-


• Free bachelor accommodation

• SSC & HSSC or Equivalent : Minimum 60% marks


• BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.00 or 60% marks

• Full Tuition Fee waiver


• PKR: 75,000/- monthly scholarship


• Free bachelor accommodation

• SSC & HSSC or Equivalent : Minimum 60% marks


• BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks


• MS/MPhil: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or 75% marks


• 2-year service as Research Associate at GIK Institute with annual performance as very good or better.

• Full Tuition Fee waiver


• Monthly stipend Rs. 50,000/-


• Free bachelor accommodation

• SSC & HSSC or Equivalent : Minimum 60% marks


• BS Engg : Minimum CGPA 2.70 or 70% marks


• MS/MPhil: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or 75% marks
