General Google Scholarships for Female Students of CS

Google, the worlds largest search engine and Internet Company, is offering scholarships to female students pursuing computer science degrees. This scholarship aims to encourage and support aspiring female students in the field of technology. Pakistani female students are also encouraged to apply for this opportunity and receive a reward of $25,000 for the year 2023-24.

Eligibility Criteria:

Female students who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for the General Google Scholarship:

• Female


• Must be full-time students currently enrolled in a recognized university


• Must be 1st or 2nd year students in a Bachelors degree program at an accredited university in the Asia Pacific region, including




• India,


• Taiwan,


• Southeast Asian countries, such as Pakistan, Brunei, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, Singapore, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam




• Must be studying computer science or closely related technical fields


• Must have a strong academic record


• Must show leadership and a passion for improving representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology

Application Process:

They must also provide responses to two short essay questions and participate in the Google Online Challenge. The selection of female candidates will be based on their overall strength of essays and application material compared to the entire application pool or respective peers.
