In a significant move, Government College University GCU Hyderabad has launched a valuable opportunity for young individuals coming from economically challenged backgrounds through the inauguration of the two-year English Empowerment Scholarship Program. In partnership with the United States US Embassy in Islamabad, this educational endeavor seeks to uplift underprivileged youth by enhancing their proficiency in the English language.

Open to both male and female candidates aged between 13 and 16, this program presents a unique platform to cultivate language abilities crucial for both academic and personal advancement.

The courses under this program have been thoughtfully scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., ensuring flexibility for students with diverse daily routines.

Prospective candidates have until the 23rd of August to submit their applications, while the selection process interviews are slated to take place on the 28th of August.

The English Empowerment Scholarship Program equips participants with English language skills that can potentially lead to improved employment opportunities and educational avenues.

Moreover, participants gain the competence to compete for and engage in future exchange programs and pursue studies in the United States. Since its inception in 2004, approximately 150,000 students across more than 80 countries have actively participated in this transformative initiative.
