GB 9th Class Female Student Scholarship 2024 Diamer District

The government of Gilgit Baltistan GB is taking strides to promote female education specifically in the Diamer district. Under a special initiative scheme, GB Government is offering scholarship programs for female students at the 9th class level, aiming to enhance educational opportunities in the region. Eligibility Criteria:

Female students who are permanent residents of hard-to-reach areas within the Diamer district and lack access to matric and inter-class education are eligible.
Already enrolled female students in matric part 1 at government schools in GB can apply, with their application forms endorsed by the schools head.
Initially, 25 girl students from class 9 will be selected.
Each selected student will receive a scholarship of Rs. 8000/- per month.
Selected students are expected to continue their education until they pass their inter-class exams.
Maintaining an attendance rate of 85% in school is mandatory.
Students must provide a surety bond through their parents/guardians, committing to continue their education and serve the GB government. Upon completion of their education, students will be appointed in government jobs and required to serve for 3 years.

Selection Process:

The final selection of girl students will be based on:
Lowest monthly income basis
Previous academic progress
Performance in tests/interviews.

Admission certificate from their respective school
