FBISE To Award Scholarships To Madrassa Students

Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Shafqat Mahmood has directed the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education through a notification to provide scholarships to the students of madrassas.

Federal Minister Shafqat Mehmood said that 20 students of madrassas who would show outstanding performance in SSC and HSSC examinations would be awarded annual scholarships.

Rs.25,000 / - from the Federal Board for the best performance in Matriculation for the next two years and the best performing students in Intermediate will be admitted in the medical field for the next 5 years Will receive a scholarship For the next 4 years.

Shafqat Mahmood said that the promotion of education is one of the top priorities of the government and since the role of religious schools and centers in the promotion of education is commendable and an undeniable fact. In addition, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister of Education to review the progress of the 'Skilled Pakistan Program'.
