The KP government has made the announcement that KP Takes Rigorous Steps to Ensure Integrity in MDCAT Retake Exam.
Mobile Tower Services Suspension for Anti-Cheating
To combat the issue of cheating, the interim provincial government has made the decision to suspend mobile tower services in close proximity to the exam centers during the MDCAT test hours. This step aims to prevent unauthorized communication that could compromise the exams fairness.
Collaborative Efforts for Test Security
In a joint effort to ensure the tests security, the KP Police, along with the Federal Investigation Agency FIA, is diligently working to prevent any incidents similar to those that occurred in the earlier test this year.
Enhanced Oversight by Peshawar Police
The Peshawar Police have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the printing and distribution of test materials, reinforcing transparency and security. Additionally, the deployment of walk-through gates and CCTV cameras at exam centers throughout the province will further enhance surveillance. Female police officers will also be stationed at these centers to bolster security.
Expanded Exam Centers across the Province
Authorities have taken steps to facilitate test takers by establishing examination centers in 11 districts within the province, including Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad.
Impartial Duty Staff Selection
The Khyber Medical University will share information regarding the duty staff for the MDCAT exam, ensuring that administrative officials from different departments are not part of the process. This measure is intended to uphold the impartiality of the examination.
Background on MDCAT Retake
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made the decision to conduct a retake of the MDCAT exam following the discovery of cheating incidents involving Bluetooth devices during the previous administration of the test. The retake is scheduled for November 26, aiming to restore the exams integrity and fairness.
