EEF Offers 1000 Scholarships 2024 for KPK Students

Education Employees Foundation EEF has recently announced a total of 1000 scholarships, with 202 scholarships allocated for each class, ranging from SSC to Degree Classes. These scholarships are specifically intended for the children of employees within the Education Department. Eligible students include those studying in Matric, FA/F.Sc, and Poly Technical Institutes, D.Com, and Degree classes in either government or privately recognized institutions. Criteria and Application Deadline

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Employees Foundation awards scholarships annually on a merit basis to children studying in SSC, HSSC, and Bachelor Classes. In accordance with the Education Employee Foundation Act 2018, the Foundation has set the deadline for receiving scholarship applications as January 15, 2024. Education Employees can submit their applications directly to the office or through proper channels, duly attested by the relevant authorities mentioned in the application form, along with required document photocopies.

Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions for EEF scholarships are outlined as follows:

• Students must use the prescribed form available at the Foundations office for application.
• Children of Education Department employees, including retirees, enrolled in various education levels in recognized institutions are eligible.
• Merit scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance at different levels Class 10th, Intermediate, and Degree.

Scholarship Award Process

The EEF scholarship award process involves the following steps:

• After public exams results are declared, scholarship advertisements will be published in leading/local newspapers and communicated through education offices.
• Application forms will be distributed among schools/colleges/institutions and made available via email.
• The list of awardees will be notified by the Foundation and circulated to all relevant offices and institutions.
• Scholarship cheques will be dispatched to institution heads for disbursement to students, with proper receipts furnished to the Foundation.

Contingency Measures

In case a student loses their scholarship, it will be awarded to the next deserving candidate on merit. If applications for scholarships in any gender fall below the required quota, the remaining slots will be allocated to the other gender within the same district. The EEF aims to ensure fair and accessible educational support for the children of Education Department employees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
