Dow University of Health Sciences open admission 2023-24 to Re-conduct MDCAT-2023 for Medical Admissions in Sindh Province

The Government of Sindh, in collaboration with Dow University of Health Sciences DUHS has announced the re-conduction of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT for the academic session 2023-24. This move aims to ensure a fair and transparent admission process for public and private sector medical universities and colleges in Sindh Province. MDCAT-2023 Date and Venue

The MDCAT-2023 will take place on Sunday, 19th November 2023, and candidates are required to report to the test centers between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. The test itself will have a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes, commencing at 10:30 am and concluding at 2:00 pm. This standardized test is an essential component of the admission process for medical and dental programs and will be simultaneously conducted in several cities across Sindh Province. The designated test centers are as follows:

Karachi - Expo Centre, Main University Rd, Block 15, Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Nawabshah Shaheed Benazirabad - Bilawal Sports Complex.
Jamshoro/Hyderabad - Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences LUMHS.
Larkana - Police Training School, PTS Bus Terminal.

To ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the MDCAT-2023, candidates must adhere to the following instructions:

Identification: Candidates must bring the color print of their admit card and an official document with a photograph e.g., Domicile, PRC in addition to their CNIC/B-Form. Please note that photocopies of documents will not be accepted.

Original Identification: Candidates must bring their original National Identity Card NIC, NICOP, Juvenile card, Passport, or B-Form; otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the test venue.

Prohibited Items: Entry into the test centers with mobile phones, calculators, books, notes, hard boards, bags, electronic devices including smartphones and smartwatches, headphones, and Bluetooth devices is strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate expulsion from the center and the cancellation of the candidates paper.

Timely Arrival: Candidates should aim to reach their respective test centers between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Test centers will be sealed at 9:30 am, and no late entries will be allowed.

Security Measures: All candidates will undergo a body search before entering the test center. Parents and relatives will not be allowed into or around the test center premises to maintain the integrity of the examination.
