CSS Exam Online Registration

Now Federal Public Service Commission has started facility of online application and marking of papers after which it is expected that competitive exams of various posts under FPSC will soon be taken through a complete automated system.
Now the candidates can easily apply online without the problems of previous process during which candidates had to submit application of 4 to 5 pages along with attested photocopies of CNIC and document and recent photos.
Apart from that, a new project for FPSC is also underway by National Information Technology Board (NITB) according to which computers will be used to check the papers of various exams of FPSC that will ensure accuracy and time saving along with reducing the percentage of human errors.
Following are the subjects under which NITB is working and providing suggestions to FPSC:
• Computerization of Examination System
• Computerization of Recruitment System
• Psychological test system using computer
• Special examination system using computer
• Selection of computer hardware to replace the FPSC computer
• Report on the progress of computerization
But NITB will surrender millions of rupees that were allocated to the board for the current fiscal year as several e-government projects were delayed mainly due to less number of employs for the past two years. Computerization of PM Secretariat and FPSC are also among these projects. Due to incompletion of PM Secretariat project only, Rs. 5.025 million are spare.
On 11th August 2018, NITB was established with the merger of Electric Government Directorate (EGD) and Pakistan Computer Bureau (PCB) and the board is now working as a department of the Ministry of IT & Telecom Division.
But NITB is not fully functional as 24 out of its 60 seats are vacant. According to claim by the officials of ministry, required qualified people for these vacancies could not be found despite advertisement for two times.
