The Sukkur Institute of Science and Technology SIST is excited to announce admissions for its new 3-month Certificate Course in Citizen Journalism. This course is designed for passionate, socially aware individuals who want to make a difference by reporting real stories from their communities.

Citizen journalism plays a vital role in today’s fast-paced digital world. Through this program, students will learn how to report news accurately, create digital content, and use media platforms to highlight social issues, local events, and untold stories.

Course Name: Citizen Journalism

Duration: 3 Months

Start Date: 16th May 2025

Total Seats: 500

Participants will be trained in:

Basic journalism and reporting techniques

Mobile and video journalism

News writing and fact-checking

Social media reporting

Media ethics and responsibility

Storytelling and community engagement

 Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Qualification: Intermediate FA/FSc or equivalent

Age Limit: 18 to 29 years
