Conducting Matric & Inter Annual Exams 2021 in May & June

Due to uprising of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country, the schools, colleges and universities were closed down once again and the academic process was disrupted. The students could not complete their syllabus in time so that the students face difficulties in preparation of their coming exams. During the previous year, the students were promoted to the next classes in schools and colleges without conducting their exams and now it is not possible to pass them once again in this year without having their exams. Inter Board Committee of Chairmen managed their meeting on 11 January 2021 in order to discuss the matters regarding exams schedule, paper pattern and the result announcement. It was decided that the SSC and HSSC annual exams 2021 will be held during the months of May and June 2021.

The IBCC has made the decision for the exams and it is expected that the matric and intermediate classes will be started from 24 May 2021 and the exams will be finished during the month of June this year. Previously SSC and HSSC classes annual exams were held during March but due to delay in academic year, the exams are also delayed and the exams process will be completed in June and the next academic year will be started during August 2021.
