Merit-Based Scholarships for Enrolled Students
Merit-based scholarships 2025 are also available for students who maintain an excellent academic record during their studies at LUMS. The selection is based on a students Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA and their inclusion in the Dean’s Honor List. The number of scholarships awarded varies by school, program, and academic year. LUMS Financial Aid
The LUMS Financial Aid program is designed to assist students who lack the financial resources to afford higher education. Applications for financial aid must be submitted through the LUMS online portal. The university conducts an annual assessment of students financial status, academic performance, and adherence to university policies to determine continued eligibility for aid.
This financial assistance does not need to be repaid. However, students who receive the LUMS Interest-Free Loan must begin repayment six months after graduation, with a maximum repayment period of five years.

National Outreach Program NOP Scholarship
The National Outreach Program NOP is a flagship scholarship initiative at LUMS, aimed at students who have at least 80% marks in Matric or equivalent O-levels and demonstrate financial need. This program provides full financial support to selected students from across Pakistan.
Shahid Hussain Foundation SHF Scholarship for International Students
The Shahid Hussain Foundation SHF Scholarship is exclusively for international students from SAARC countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Afghanistan, Bhutan, and India.
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must be a citizen of a SAARC country except Pakistan.
Dual nationals with one Pakistani nationality are not eligible.
The candidate must meet LUMS academic requirements.
Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program ADB-JSP
LUMS also offers the ADB-JSP Scholarship, which is available for both Pakistani and international students.
