British Chevening Scholarships 2018

The UK government has maintained their Chevening program and under this program, they sent 63 Pakistani students to study in the master degree programs in UK for one year. The acting British High Commissioner presented the certificates to the number of Pakistani scholars at a reception in Islamabad before they go to the UK. During the reception, the British High Commissioner, UK Aid officials and members of the Chevening Alumni Association of Pakistan attended, which was given to the students.
The Acting British High Commissioner said that he congratulated the students on this wonderful achievement and the year 2018 shows the 70th anniversary of UK-Pak relationships along with Chevening Scholarship program, which is the basic part of the strong relationship between these two countries. They can share their ideas and also learn about the results of the Chevening scholarship program. He further added that this is the golden chance for the scholars to gain knowledge and experience through dynamic, vibrant and multiracial society. He advised the scholars to make best of their time in UK and gain knowledge and experience through culture, heritage and landscape and the individuals of UK. They will also get the innovative experience and knowledge, which will help them to make the difference to future of Pakistan.
