BIEK Eliminates Scrutiny Fee for First-Year Inter Students

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi BIEK has announced the removal of the scrutiny fee for first-year intermediate students dissatisfied with their exam results. This initiative, aimed at supporting students, comes following orders from Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. Fee Waiver for All Groups
According to BIEK Chairman Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, the waiver is applicable to students from various groups, including Science Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General, Commerce Private, Arts Private, and Home Economics. This applies specifically to those who participated in the 2024 Intermediate Part-I Annual Examinations.
Enhanced Scrutiny Process
To ensure timely resolution, the BIEK chairman has instructed the examination controller to finalize all scrutiny requests within 30 days. To facilitate the process, designated counters have been established at the inquiry office for male students and at the facilitation center for female students, providing streamlined access to services.

Students seeking to file scrutiny requests can download the required forms directly from BIEK’s official website. This online availability ensures convenience and ease for applicants.
Transparent Review Mechanism
In addition, BIEK has constituted an inquiry committee, comprising senior educators, to address any complaints related to the BIEK Intermediate Part-I results 2024. This committee was formed under the direction of Chairman Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah to ensure fairness and transparency in the results review process.
