BA & MA Programs Phasing Out from Jan 01

The government of the Punjab has made the decision in the cabinet meeting to end the bachelors and master degree programs from all colleges located in Punjab programs from January 01. The Chief Minister of Punjab chaired the cabinet meeting and the approval was accorded to phase out the BA and MA programs from the colleges and after that the admissions will be offered to the students in new programs, which will be renamed. It is decided that the names of the degree colleges will be renamed as Associate Degree College and the Post Graduate College will be given the title of Graduate College. Higher Education Commission Islamabad has already issued the directions to the government and private universities across Pakistan to stop BA and MA programs in the universities and their affiliated colleges. Now it was asked to the universities to start their Associate Degree programs.
