All Pakistan Colleges Association Reopens Colleges

Due to spreading of Coronavirus pandemic in the country once again, the government decided to close down the schools, colleges, universities, academies and seminars all over the country from 24 November 2020 till 24 December 2020. After the closing down, the winter vacations will be started from 25 December 2020 to 10 January 2021 all over the country in order to tackle down current situation of corona. All Pakistan Colleges and Academies Association made the announcement to reopen the colleges and this decision was made during a meeting to discuss the COVID-19 situation and review the reopening of the institution plan. The chairman of the association said that the educational institutes will be reopened with strict compliance of the standard operating procedures and the authorities will ensure that there should be no violation of SOPs, which are made by government. APCCA demanded the government to reconsider the decision of the closure of the educational institutes. During the conference of Inter-Provincial Education Ministers being held in November, Federal Education Minister announced to shut down the educational institutes and the educational institutes will remain closed from 23 November 2020 to 10 January 2021. The students are attending the online classes till 24 December and after that the winter vacations will be started and after reviewing the situation, the decision of reopening of educational institutes from 11 January 2021 will be made.
