AIOU Outstanding Students Scholarships

Allama Iqbal Open University is providing distant learning education to the students in the far off areas of the country. AIOU also offers the special scholarships to the students, who get 75% marks or more in their recent exams. The main objective of this scheme is to create the competition among the students and it will also encourage the outstanding students.
The interested candidates can download the application forms from the link, which is given at the official website of the University and they can send it to Director Students advisory services at the main campus through the regional offices.
The deadline for sending of the admission form for all programs for autumn semester 2018 without late fee is 28 September 2018. The VC of the university wants to encourage the students, who get maximum marks in their exams. The university offers 9 scholarship schemes to the brilliant and outstanding students, which are:

• Scholarship for Communities
• Scholarship for Women
• Fee Installment Scheme
• Alumni-Sponsored Scholarship
The vice chancellor of the AIOU allocates about 170 million rupees in the annual budget to help the deserving students and the students, who fall in the set categories, then can contact with the nearest regional campus of the university to avail this opportunity. AIOU is also providing free education to the prisoners, disabled students and drop out girls as the special case according to their position to promote the demoted sections of the society.
