Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Scholarship Notice 2024
The U.S. Consulate Peshawar and the Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, in collaboration with Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan AWKUM, have announced the launch of the English Access Scholarship Program 2024. This initiative is specifically designed for underprivileged yet talented male students aged 13 to 16 from Mardan, offering a comprehensive 15-month after-school English-language program. The classes will be conducted twice a week at AWKUM’s Garden Campus.
Funded by the U.S. Embassy Islamabad’s Regional English Language Office RELO, the program seeks to enhance students English proficiency, equipping them with essential language skills that will benefit their future academic and professional endeavors. Participants will receive free books, bags, stationery, and pens, ensuring that all necessary resources are provided to aid their learning journey.
Eligibility Criteria:
Male students aged 13 to 16 from low-income families.
Students from both government and private schools and colleges are eligible to apply.
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: October 28, 2024
Interested students must download the application form from the AWKUM website or collect it from the HRD Section, Admin Block, Garden Campus. Completed forms should be submitted to the HRD Section or mailed to Dr. Mujahid Shah, Program Coordinator. Successful candidates will be contacted for interviews.
